Auditions for La Dolorosa

La Zarzuela, Inc. invites singers and actors to audition for its upcoming production of the zarzuela La Dolorosa, which will be presented in September 2022 in Miami-Dade. The production will be in the original language; therefore artists must be fluent in Spanish. 

The auditions will take place at the Manuel Artime Community Center
970 SW 1st. Street Suite 408 Miami Fl 33130.
-Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm
-Monday, May 30, 2022,   from 7 pm to 9 pm
-Saturday, June 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm

Roles:

Rafael: Lyric tenor 
Padre Prior: Bass o baritone 
Dolores: Soprano or mezzo-soprano 
Nicasia: Soprano (comic role) 
Perico:  tenor (comic role)
Juana: Actress 
José: Actor

La Zarzuela, Inc. is looking for singers for the brief chorus section in la zarzuela La Dolorosa (6 to 8 singers). The production will be in the original Spanish. Artists must be fluent in Spanish.
Audition repertoire: zarzuela romanzas, monologues.
